Modular greenhouse design.

Experimental and AI approach to finding and delivering the right conditions for growth and max yield.

Shorter time and distance to consumption.

Better for our planet.

Growing lettuce isn't rocket science. You give it light and water, it grows. But doing it efficiently - reducing water and energy consumption while growing yields through optimizing the environment and keeping pathogens away through modular design - is a highly tech driven endeavor. AI controls the environment, and robots deliver water, nutrients, and harvest the produce at just the right time.

Agroindustry uses huge tracts of land that are fed by dwindling aquifers and are subject to the whims of weather, soil depletion and damaging effects of climate change. Where the food grows is often far from where it is consumed, resulting in waste and emissions from transport.

I love the prospect of having a local greenhouse where technology and AI bring fresh produce to the customer. No shortages, high yields, no waste - truly farm to table.

Congrats Hippo Harvest on this awesome milestone!
